SwissWinds is a Greenfield business start-up from the SME-Institute of the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. It actually started in 2003 and is located in the Swiss Alps offering vast resources for hydro-, solar- and wind power.

The SwissWinds group of companies is specialized in developing, realizing and managing wind parks in alpine regions and possesses all the necessary special knowledge. A dedicated team of experienced wind energy specialists such as electrical engineer, meteorologist, energy and business manager is the backbone of the group. This team created Europe’s highest wind turbine – 2,465 meters above sea level in a highly complex territory in mid-2011.
