SwissWinds Development was founded in 2008 as a start-up of the University of St. Gall. The company plans and erects wind parks in Alpine regions. The committed SWD team consists of experienced wind power specialists and has the ambitious goal of changing peripheral regions that are dependent upon subvention into self-sufficient energy regions.
